Mature applicants must take the university’s entrance examination in English, Mathematics, and Aptitude.

Credit passes (A – D) in six (6) subjects:
Three (3) core subjects including English Language and Mathematics.
Any three (3) elective subjects.

Three (3) core subjects including English Language and Mathematics.
Any three (3) elective subjects.
Must have passed three (3) subjects (at least one Grade D or better).
In addition, must have credit passes (Grade 6) in five (5) GCE Ordinary Level subjects, including:
English Language
Mathematics
A Science subject (for non-science students).
Full Diploma Certificate in ABCE.
Plus credit passes in five (5) subjects, including:
English Language
Mathematics
Integrated Science or Social Studies
(From GBCE, SSSCE, or WASSCE).
Acceptable qualifications include:
International Baccalaureate (IB)
IGCSE / GCSE
American Grade 13 Examinations
Other equivalent external qualifications (WASSCE/SSSCE & GCE A Levels).
Applicants whose first language is not English must show English proficiency from a recognized institution before registration.
All foreign qualifications will be subject to GTEC’s evaluation for equivalence.
Must be at least 25 years old and show proof of age (birth certificate or legitimate document at least 5 years old).
Must pass the Mature Students’ Entrance Examinations conducted by the University in:
English Language
Mathematics
Aptitude Test
Applicants with HND certificates (minimum 2nd Class Lower Division) from recognized tertiary institutions may be admitted into Level 300.
Must also have at least two (2) years’ post-qualification work experience.

These programs are designed to provide both theoretical knowledge and practical skills to prepare students for the job market.
Each undergraduate program runs for four years (eight semesters). The academic calendar includes 13 weeks of teaching, 1 week of revision, and 2 weeks of exams per semester.

Yes. Two options are available:
Option 1 – Full payment with rebate: Pay all fees before the end of registration and get a 2% rebate.
Option 2 – Installments:
Pay at least 50% before end of registration
Pay 75% before mid-semester exams
Pay 100% at least one week before final exams
Ghanaian students: GHS 3,650.00 per semester
International students: USD 1,500.00 per semester (must pay full before registration)

Yes. Internships are a formal part of the undergraduate programs. Students participate in industrial attachment in Levels 200 and 300, each lasting a minimum of 8 weeks, to gain hands-on industry experience.

Yes. All undergraduate students are required to complete a final-year project, focusing on practical and topical issues within their field of study. This ensures graduates are equipped for both professional roles and further academic research.
